THE VIX is at 22 and change.....in 2007 it was 17.54, in 2008 it was 32.69.......are we on the brink of the abyss? THESE numbers might be a clue.

2pm est....25.5....any number over 20 is fear multiplied. It will be interesting to see where the vix
sits at the end of the week....just a hic cup OR a serious correction.

This, in no way, resembles 2008. The mortgage market is strong. Employment is strong. This is nerves over a virus that may or may not be a big factor.

I was just thinking that Monday might be the day that will tell the tale. If we see more panicked selling Monday, things are going towards a large correction. If, on the other hand, a weekend worth of news and a bit of perspective calms things down, the buyers might emerge from hiding. On Tuesday I’ll either be buying stocks or real estate lol.

No.. Cash is still trash. I have dry powder and am stealing some yield. At 7.1% I can ride it out.

You have some, that is for sure......2008 apparently is a faded memory of everything going wrong,
except now it is GLOBAL......I hope your optimism is correct, because THIS time it is different.
THE WORLD is involved in this fubar, not just AMERICA
