Regarding the VA study of 368 older men, when did we start accepting non peer reviewed studies? I get skewered every time I post one.

I particularly found it fascinating that the Dept. of Ophthalmology is listed as one of the authors.

When U have several sources from several different countries saying the same thing and THEY
were FIRST to do the experiment/study... I would have to say the PEER REVIEW...when every it
is completed,will come to the same conclusion....jmo China found that out very early on...since
China was the epicenter....

There are so many factors to this...per Dr. F....unlike any we have seen before....I take that
to me NO SIMILARITY....correct me if I wam wrong.

As I understand it.....ONE of the side effects DOES impact the eyes....would have to re research the link....from one expert quote......"it effects everything from head to toes"...is the data they
are accumulating.

So should they stop using it on Malaria and Lupus patients too?

Not sure what the JAMA citation has to do with HCQ. the study concerns the ocular problems in patients with Covid-19, says nothing with regard to their treatment.
I found the original citation regarding HCQ rx and found it interesting that the death rate in this study , in the VA hospital in South Carolina, was over 19% which is roughly twice the death rate in NYC and multiple times greater than in the population in the U.S.
Does this say something about the VA system?
