Great news about people returning to work, but you have to worry this might be only temporary. Governor Polis just closed bars and nightclubs again. And other states that are seeing surges will also respond by closing some businesses. Some beaches will be closed for the 4th of July.

Polis, in his statement closing the bars, said that he did not want Colorado becoming a destination spot for citizens of surrounding states. Just imagine the influx of people from WY, Nebraska, Kansas Oklahoma. New Mexico, Arizona (Four Corners), and Utah. The horror!
But it is O.K. if they come to buy marijuana.

So what will happen? One scenario, buy your beer etc., and gather somewhere. Just like a Rave party.

What is most troublesome to me is that Polis uses a "one size fits all" solution. Because a bar may be violating his edict regarding capacity, the Crossroads Grill, for example, has to close its bar even though
it is in adherence to the edict ( it is not a law).
As I am typing this comment my neighbors, wonderful people are having a cook-out with friends, and are in violation of social distancing edicts.
Denver/Boulder are the tail that wags the rural/mountainous Colorado dog.

I know of a pair of physicians here whose daughter, a friend of my daughter, graduated this year. They threw her a party last weekend with over 200 people-no masks, no social distancing. They claim the virus is still here but will run its course regardless of what we do. They also referred me to the death statistics vs new cases. It paints an interesting picture. They claimed this virus has mutated and is much less deadly now. They also made some other interesting claims but wouldn’t have wanted to go on record with them. These aren’t front line physicians, but, rather, a specialist, and a surgeon. I tend to trust their word.

Ramage, I always try to stop at Shooters Grill on my way to train at Front Sight. The first time, many years ago, our waitress was non-other than Lauren Boebert. They moved across the street a few years ago, a bit larger, same great food and service.

Wow! Didn't expect that! Her opponent has over 300K to spend in the general so you will need donors. Maybe Fox News should cover her upset and her restaurant. She is quite newsworthy.
