Just a question

On September 8, 2020 it was posted that the Elephant Butte fire was still under investigation and the point of origination and cause were determined. September 12, 2020 another fire in the 31000 block of Upper Bear Creek Rd. A structure was heavily damaged. It will be interesting to see if:
1.Someone was targeted by the fires
2.Someone was trying to destroy evidence of the first mentioned fire, or
3.It was an incredibly rare coincidence.

The silent majority will be silent no more.

The two fires are distinctly different in that one was strictly a wildland fire in the middle of an open space park and the other a home fire, nor were they adjacent, but rather separated by Upper Bear Creek. I highly doubt it's #1 or #2.

I pulled up the house fire location and manually overlaid it onto this unofficial map that Jeremy Goldsmith created of the fire location and evacuation zone. The blue star is the house fire that just happened, the dark red is the Elephant Butte Fire boundary, light pink is the evac zone.

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill
