I think many of us would be all for training individuals of different businesses, including schools, to carry and be ready to use a weapon if necessary. But, this was a gun free zone where there was nobody capable of defending anyone.

This is possibly the stupidest thread I've ever seen. Are you seriously suggesting that a manager a King Soopers should be disciplined because she didn't confront an active shooter? Are people really suggesting that mass shootings are something new? WTH??

I am not saying the manager should be disciplined for running away. Where did you get that? It might happen, or I could also see corporate saying it was a freak situation and she couldn't be expected to do anything.
