Heavily armed men engaged in a standoff with Massachusetts police, prompting shelter-in-place orders and massive delays as a portion of Interstate 95 was shut down earlier today. They claim to be from a group "that does not recognize our laws,” police said.

Nine have been taken into custody.

It's not known if they had been drinking Samuel Adams beer to celebrate the July 4th weekend.

Connected to the "Rise Of The Moors" group? An African American organization? Interesting story. Will have to see how it develops.

Care to explain what you mean by that? I have no idea what a "malt liquor group" is.

Denver Post had a story about the confrontation this morning. Seems they are claiming to be foreigners. I don't know if that means they have rejected their US citizenship or they actually are citizens of other nations.

Yes, they tend to believe they are not bound by the rules of the places they live. They generally do not pay for vehicle registrations and property taxes or carry photo ID. Somewhat more popular in the Pacific Northwest but still a tiny minority of Americans.
