This argument by the left always omits the obvious and important factor that should always be included, the right of the living human being. Pelosi is all in on allowing abortion all the way up to nine moths and never mentions the actual scientific fact that a human life is being taken. They have used their regular tactic of changing words to soften the reality of what an abortion, or the killing of a young human, is just "women's reproductive health". That sounds so much better and is much easier to digest, especially if the actual images of the process are not widely viewed, especially by the women who are making the decision to terminate that life.

I always image what a more advanced alien life would think if they landed on this planet and learned what we were doing to the unborn. Would they think that was more or less civilized when there are other alternatives to ripping the small living body into pieces and throwing them into the trash. Your article had no comparisons to other decades so it was useless and even if you agree with it, carry it to the next level. To save the child from possible abuse and neglect, we killed the child in the 9th month instead. I wonder if they have done studies on the parents who couldn't be bothered to use birth control, or get abortions in a timely manner wind up being horrible parents. I think there is probably a pretty good correlation there.

ANSWER THE QUESTION....because IT is the bases for basic women's rights....I have a personal
scenario for U to consider, the foster care/adoption paradigm is woefully underfunded/understaffed and
is inadequate.

My "fitness trainer" is fostering a baby,the baby was 2mo old and underdeveloped,languishing in health
and was under the care of a mentally handicapped young mother. The child protection agency stepped
in to rescue the baby. It took 2 0r3 months to finally place the child in a "good" home...the baby is almost 1 yr.next month and is doing extremely well. It took months to bring the child back from the brink of neglect.

THIS child was lucky,many others still wait for a mother and dad, instead they grow up in the "system"....go talk to ANY social worker in the field, it is a tragedy and u will come back with a far different view.

Child neglect is not at an all time high! Stop spouting untruths. Under President Biden, the social safety net is at the highest it has ever been. The school lunch program has expanded to breakfast and even giving meals to children during Summer vacation. In Colorado, preschool is now free. Go back to the 1930's and 40's if you want to see child neglect, the Great Depression, orphanages. Real poverty.
