Fair enough, President Trump did some things right, like limiting immigration during a global pandemic, but he definitely wasn't your normal president, much more combative and independent, much less of a party hack. Biden? He isn't a strong president, and doesn't even appear to be a daily president.

I just read most of that HA and there was something missing. The people who said they would have voted for anyone but Trump (all Republicans), they didn't say anything about Trump's policies and whether or not they think they are better off now with progressive policies. These Republicans are the Romney/Cheney wing that are far more butt hurt than they are logical. These people are greatly outnumbered and people like Cheney are going to be destroyed next election, even with W's impotent endorsement.

I think Democrats have the same problem in a different way. I think the minority of the party are the lunatic progressives who have no idea how the economy works or how to use a calculator. Unfortunately for more logical voters like SC, these people have the loudest voices and have tapped into the woke zombies who are somehow pushing the more moderate Democrats into their nutty corner. I really don't think people like Klobuchar really want to toss another 5 trillion into an economy that is already hurting from inflation, but they know their constituents want some kind of win, even if they are not smart enough to know the consequences.

The truth is, the more pain the anti-Trumpers and Democrats feel from their losses of freedom and insane economic and energy policies the cost them serious money, the more these people will be longing for someone like Trump to undo all the progressive idiocy. The party of good intentions and bad outcomes can't continue on this path much longer without losing the House, Senate, and presidency.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

The folks voted against someone, not for someone, paying no attention to the policies.

Well, the democrats told everyone what they were going to do and they are doing it. That's why you should vote policies and not the person.

If the majority of voters were like you, we wouldn't be in the mess we are in right now. I would also add that we shouldn't vote based on feelings, we should vote based on common sense and logic.

But to your point, Biden got more votes than Obama. Biden had zero excitement and Obama was treated like a rock star. So you're right, most didn't vote for Biden because they thought he would be a great president, he was just the default and his VP was even worse.

Agree, most Americans vote party over politician. One of the things President Trump changed was the party base. As the Democrats become more coastal elites, the GOP is winning more of the blue collar vote.

bolded...SIMPLY put....the sociopathic,childish,"thug" mentality of Trump,OVERULED any potential benefit
of his policies. His demeanor of deceit, derogatory, demeaning comments, his autocratic tendencies were
his downfall. BULLIES become boorish and then they r shunned. THAT is why the election turned.

So if progressive policies end up destroying this country with socialism that destroys the middle class, that will be fine as long as we don't have a president that makes mean tweets and offends people? I know you don't see that happening , but the socialists are clearly running the Democrat party and they are making it possible for millions of poor unskilled people to walk into the country and start receiving taxpayer funded benefits. How long will we be able to maintain our land of opportunity and wealth if this continues? If the majority of voters put personality before policies, we deserve to be destroyed.

SIMPLY put HA the destruction of our county and our standing around the world is causing many who previously shared you pathology to wish Trump was still President. Mean tweets be damned.

I am leery of those who see"" mean tweets" as the MAIN cause of the demise of TRUMP. the REAL and
present danger of his demeanor is "only I and I alone can make it right".....THAT sentiment is scary as
hell and I see it as a DIRECT challenge to the Constitution of this country. Which,in turn, means a 4th
Turning is imminent....because "I alone" is not a bipartisan byline,but rather,an autocratic,ego-centered
method of governing....U think the D's r bringing this country down? What a mistake in mindset.
