Slo Joe's administration has now made medicine political and racist:

The Washington Free Beacon reports that the Biden administration will offer bonuses to doctors who “create and implement an anti-racism plan” under new rules from the Department of Health and Human Services, that revise Medicare payments:

Effective Jan. 1, Medicare doctors can boost their reimbursement rates by conducting “a clinic-wide review” of their practice’s “commitment to anti-racism.” The plan should cover “value statements” and “clinical practice guidelines,” according to HHS, and define race as “a political and social construct, not a physiological one”—a dichotomy many doctors say will discourage genetic testing and worsen racial health disparities.

Latest: Trump: Get Vaccinated

The “rationale” for the bonus, the new rules read, is that “it is important to acknowledge systemic racism as a root cause for differences in health outcomes between socially-defined racial groups.”

Glad that I retired.

From a commentator on the WSJ article regarding the rise in gasoline prices:

Just one year ago we were the #1 oil producing country in the world and completely energy independent. Gasoline was $2.20 a gallon when Biden took office. Today gasoline is at a ten year high and $3.75 a gallon. When Biden agreed with Germany to allow the Russian pipeline to be completed giving Putin one billion dollars of oil a day this was a sign to Putin that Biden has his back. This also meant that we would be back to buying oil from our enemies when just 13 months ago we were selling it to our allies. America was just buying 5-600,000 barrels of oil a day from Russia. Wonder if the Big Guy is getting 10% here too.

How can anyone man and party destroy a country this fast just one year. Ukraine, Afghanistan (13 dead soldiers), soaring inflation (41 year high) and gasoline prices (10year high) , along with murder( up 30%), illegal border crossings (20 year high), debt up (2 trillion and without Manchin 8 trillion in just one year). It reminds me of Obama's comment "Don't underestimate Joe's ability to F things up". Amazing the CNN poll of Democrats reflect 51% do not want Biden to run again after just one year. How can it not be 92%.

And now the Biden Administration wants to drop sanctions against Maduro and the government of Venezuela. Not because they have improved human rights, instead because we need to buy their oil again. Hypocrites.

By now we should all know Biden isn't making any decisions here, he's fully controlled by the leftist climate alarmists. The very last thing these people want is affordable fossil fuel energy and they will stubbornly hold the line until they get massacred in the future elections. They foolishly believe that penalizing people for not buying EV's is the best way to get people to buy EV's. This is the same tactic they used for vaccines they wanted to force on everybody.

People who can not afford to buy an EV or don't have an easy way to charge an EV are not going to buy an EV.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

VERY GOOD REASON BEHIND THIS .....(being retired, the last portion of the article is the most important.)

endpts.com/jj-regrets-paying-for-study-t...ith-asbestos-report/

AND THEN THERE IS THIS.....

Henrietta Lacks
Henrietta Lacks was an African American woman whose cancer cells were taken in 1951 without her or her family's permission and used to generate the HeLa cell line – the world's first immortalised human cell line.

Oh I see, you're responding to post from 3 months ago, not the current ones. I'll let ramage respond to your post.

HERE'S WHY....apparently the BIDEN'S understanding of the problem,is,in fact, BASED ON HISTORY and is the basis of the request. "glad I'm retired" is a inside look of a mind that is CLOSED.

I find it, more than often, futile to attempt to respond to HA's posts. First, because I cannot translate her form of communication into english syntax. Second, when it is translated (or attempt at translation) by another poster, the comment is off point and invariably Trump is inserted.

However, when HA posts a comment from another source that is readable, though not credited I can comment on the irrelevant but understandable comment., To wit:

"Henrietta Lacks
Henrietta Lacks was an African American woman whose cancer cells were taken in 1951 without her or her family's permission and used to generate the HeLa cell line – the world's first immortalised human cell line."

On this topic I have some personal knowledge. George Gey, M.D., , doing research in propagating cell lines at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, obtained , in 1951, a sample of tissue which he labeled HeLa. Along with many other samples, all labeled with the first two letters of the patient, e.g., Mary Smith = MaSm. He maintained the patient's autonomy throughout his life and went to his grave never revealing the name of patients, in particular HeLa.
In my readings of the Helen Lacks controversy, I do not recall mention of how the name was obtained and released. On the personal level that I mentioned, speaking with an individual involved in the study, Dr Gey never revealed the patient's name.
To the point of not having obtained informed consent, I refer the reader to www.encyclopedia.com/science/encyclopedi...ory-informed-consent .
Briefly, "Informed consent is not an ancient concept with a rich medical tradition. The term informed consent first appeared in 1957, and serious discussion of the concept began only around 1972."

Now, what this comment has to do with Biden's Accomplishments, I do not know. Pardon my digression.
