Guess that the "woke" crowd couldn't remove Mt. Evans, so they changed the name to Mt. Blue Sky.

LOL. Denali literally means "tall mountain".
The Native Americans aren't as inventive as people give them credit for. Like many tribal names essentially mean, "the people".
Maybe they should have chosen the name of a historic chief instead.

Irony, changing place names to aboriginal titles like Denali. But the Colorado legislature banning the use of tribal names for school sports teams. What is wrong with calling a high school team on the Western Slope the Utes for the tribe that still occupies that part of the state?

I’m unsure what your point is HA. I never mentioned Alaskans and I am well aware of who the Alaskan people are because I lived there.
