Looks like Americans will have the option to go without masks on public transportation including airline flights. Will this make air travel calmer or more crazy? And will this make you less likely to travel? Last week flying home from Frankfurt, I pretended to sleep and left my masked pulled down. The flight attendants didn't disturb me.

We are flying to NYC next week, will let you know if masks will be required. I have to hope that they won't, in that all major airline CEO's testified that the mask mandate was useless. I do not think that they will go against a court order.
Today:
Update (2000ET): Bloomberg reports that the CDC says the national mask requirement on public transportation is no longer in effect, citing a Florida court ruling against the measure.
The CDC says it will not enforce the mask order but continues to recommend that people wear masks in indoor public transportation settings.
As a reminder, the U.S. Senate voted 57-40 last month to overturn the public health order requiring masks on airplanes and other forms of public transportation, drawing a veto threat from President Joe Biden.

If masks are not worn by flight attendants, we will now be able to see the scowl on their faces as they take care of passengers.
DIA will still have a mask mandate. Expect other Blue Cities to do the same for their airports. Democrat slogan in November, 2022? "We kept you masked!".

Did DIA actually state that they will enforce a mask mandate in the terminal?
If so, by whom? The Denver Police would be violating Federal law if they arrested someone for not wearing a mask. The airports are governed by the Feds (FAA) otherwise there would have been no mask
mandates in Florida, Texas, etc. The CDC has stated that mask mandate are over effective immediately.
This judge is one of many good Trump accomplishments. The only thing I like about seeing people still wearing masks is that we can more easily identify Biden voters and keep our distance.
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
The communications director at DIA, stated that DIA's relationship with TSA required DIA to follow the lead of the TSA. Late yesterday, 4/18, DIA was informed that TSA would no longer require masks and at that time DIA then announced that masks would no longer be required. She noted that they were taking down the signs immediately.
There were initial thoughts that the Biden Administration would ask for a stay on repealing the mask mandate but it looks like the executive branch will accept the judge's decision. It was set to expire in early May anyway.
