I agree, there are too many threads related to abortion and as such I will post my comments on this thread only.
The following article:https://thefederalist.com/2022/07/02/ob-gyn-no-the-dobbs-decision-does-not-put-womens-lives-in-danger/, was written by an Medical Care. In the author's words:
Abortion ‘Is Not Medical Care’
It’s important to understand the difference between abortion and medical care in instances where the mother’s life might be at risk. Intentionally ending the life of a baby is not medical care.
The use of abortion in the case of a life-threatening pregnancy complication typically involves a dilation and evacuation (D&E) procedure, more commonly referred to as a “dismemberment” abortion. In contrast, true medical care seeks to save both the unborn baby and the mother.
Sometimes, it’s necessary to deliver a baby preterm, and sadly the baby doesn’t always survive. But my goal is always to save both the young unborn child and the mother. If the baby is not able to survive, the compassionate and best thing to do is to deliver the baby in a medically standard way (such as induction or C-section), so the mother is able to hold her child and grieve her loss. That’s the compassion and dignity that the medically unnecessary act of abortion robs a mother.
I encourage reading of the entire article.
It is fascinating that SC and HA remain remarkably silent on the concept of when life begins. Rather the proffer the old and tired homilies of what is best for the mother, as if the infant is an inanimate object. Perhaps that is what they believe but are unwilling or afraid to state their position.
It is troubling that the democrats appear to encourage the murder of one or more Supreme Court Justices that voted to uphold Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization.

Democrats need to take a good, hard look at their tactics. Do they really want to intimidate judges? Sounds like tactics a fascist or even a terrorist would use.
Please win state elections instead.
Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, just trade-offs.
You have to admire this woman's (pregnant person's) quick wittedness.
According to NBC 5 DFW, in June 2022, Brandy Bottone, from the city of Plano, was driving the Central Expressway when she was pulled over. The current rules allow drivers to use a high-occupancy lane only if there are two or more people present in a vehicle.
When the officer stopped the car, he started to look for other passengers and asked the expectant woman if she was alone, Bottone recalled. “No there's two of us,” she replied, pointing to her stomach. At the time, Bottone was 34 weeks pregnant.
“And then I said, ‘Well I’m not trying to throw a political mix here but, with everything going on, this counts as a baby,’” she said, referring to the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v Wade, a case ruling that protected a federal right to abortion.
I am also hopeful that she will prevail. This brings us to our Colorado abortion law
Colo. Rev. Stat. §18-1.3-401 (13) specifies that a court shall sentence a defendant convicted of committing specified offenses against a pregnant woman, if the defendant knew or reasonably should have known that the victim was pregnant, to a term of at least the midpoint, but not more than twice the maximum, of the presumptive range for the punishment of the offense.
Colo. Rev. Stat. §18-1.3-501 (6) establishes that a court shall sentence a defendant convicted of assault in the third degree to a term of imprisonment of at least six months, but not longer than the maximum sentence authorized for the offense, if the victim of the assault was a pregnant woman and the defendant knew or should have known that the victim was pregnant.
Colo. Rev. Stat. §18-1.3-1201 defines aggravating factors in the sentence of death or life imprisonment. The law defines the intentional killing of a pregnant woman with the knowledge that she was pregnant as an aggravating factor.
The state of Colorado is vague as to the death of a fetus when the mother is murdered.
Then we have this:
Former Boulder County District Attorney Stan Garnett told Denver7 it's "virtually impossible" under Colorado's statutes to bring a homicide against someone who kills an unborn child.
“Colorado requires that the child live outside of the mother’s womb independently and then be killed as a result of something that occurs then," Garnett explained to the news station.
Well, duh. No infant can live outside the womb without adult support. They are not old enough to order from Grubhub.com and do not have a valid credit card. The inference I take from Garnett's comment is that unless someone nurtures the infant, it is okay to kill it. This is what Colorado codified in the last session of the legislature.
Scenario: an infant cries and breathes after a failed abortion. A nurse goes to the infant and is stopped by the "mother". The "mother" or should I say, ex-pregnant person says leave her alone. " She will either sink or swim independently" that is Colorado law.
The infant screams "I am more than an aggravating factor."
Once upon a time Planned Parenthood said that abortions were less than 3% of their business. Must have been a critical 3% in that they are closing clinics in many states . However there is hope on the horizon, a floating abortion clinic in the Gulf of Mexico has been proposed by Meg Autry, M.D.(CA) who proclaims that abortion is her life's work.
Once again the comments on articles in the WSJ.com are more erudite than I can be. With regard to the abortion of the 10 y.o. we read the following:

For the abortionist, it sure seems like her political activism took precedence over the welfare of her patient. This 10 year old girl, who has already suffered a life altering trauma, is being dragged into the national spotlight as a sort of prop to support her doctor’s political machinations. Did she seek permission from the little girl and her mother to call the local newspaper and bring public attention to her trauma? The doctor has achieved her ends, but the child has suffered another abuse by an adult she should have been able to trust.
