Chinese Spy Balloon Over Montana

The balloon was at the altitude of 60,000 feet. That high up, nations no longer have control of their airspace. So China might get the UN to censure the US for a unprovoked attack. Why spy satellites are not shot down. Could President Biden accidentally start a space war against China? If Beijing starts shooting down military and commercial satellites, it could cripple the United States and other nations. Weather reports, satellite radio, global communications and military uses.

Hopefully the US just pays China for the lost platform to stall a future war.

An answer to what should have been done about the balloon.

Today it is okay to shoot down an unidentified flying object over Alaska but last week it was not. Pity the caribou on the ground.

When they knew what it was, they let it travel the entire country. When they don’t know what it is they shoot first and ask questions later. We have never been this weak.

In a show of strength the U.S. in conjunction with the Canadians have shot down another "UFO". What's not to like about the new policy of shoot first and find out what it is later.
This policy does not work for hunters, either big game or waterfowl.

The Chinese have us looking to the sky now, wondering if the next one will have some kind of harmful cargo. Either way, they were very successful in confirming our lack of focus and retarded priorities (like making sure our armed forces are fully woke).
