This Biden administration policy revokes in its entirety the Trump-era policy identified in this entry.

On 2/4/21, President Biden issued an Executive Order revoking certain past presidential actions on refugee admissions and resettlement (including Executive Order 13815) and directing government agencies to take steps to improve the refugee program, including to create a plan to address processing backlogs, to hire up to increase refugee adjudication capacity, to complete a review of the Iraqi and Afghan Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) programs, and to submit a report on climate change and its impact on migration.

It appears that Biden, through Executive Order, was actually trying to improve the system.

If, as you say, Slo Joe tried to improve the system, give him a passing grade for effort. However he terms of results, a resounding Failure.

So, Biden allows these criminals to walk across our border with no vetting, and then after they give a police officer a beat down, NYC releases the criminals back onto the streets. These are NOT "migrants", these are criminal scum and they should have been instantly arrested, put in jail, then DEPORTED to wherever they came from. If Democrats can't even send that needed message to other criminals, then they do not care about the people they supposedly serve. Biden is responsible for all these criminals and WHEN there is a terrorist attack from a border crosser, that blood will be on his hands.
