If the vast majority of people who reach the border are able to enter our country, how is the border not open? We have a legal process to enter the country and that legal process does not include entering the country without first applying. Your Democrats want to put more money at the border.... not to stop the masses from entering, but to process them faster.
No other country in the world allows this madness and cities across the country are suffering from it. If it wasn't a big deal, Biden wouldn't suddenly be talking about making it stop after 3+ years or record numbers crossing. This is the #1 issue that will hurt Democrats because the unrestricted policy is hurting poor and minority people more than anyone else.
I realize you are not likely to personally feel the consequences of the madness because of where you live, but real Americans are watching city resources evaporate because of the growing number of homeless "migrants" and the crimes many are starting to commit.
Don't get hung up on the term "open border"... just look at the numbers and ask yourself how long this country can sustain those numbers. It's like saying a dam isn't broken because it's still holding back some water, but there's massive holes that are letting water out. We should be patching the holes and not just redirecting the water that passes through it.

The REAL solution has been ignored for decades,by both parties....expedite or put more personnel and PROPER PROCEDURES IN PLACE TO allow THE INCOMING TO MAKE THEMSELVES "LEGAL",REORG THE PROCESS so that weeks.NOT years, allows the paperwork to proceed thru the system in a timely manner. Do u really think these people WANT to wait years (under cover and afraid for their futures) until our gov. can get it shit together to make them legal.
