Do you believe people from around the world who we know nothing about should be forced to apply for entry like every other country on the planet requires? Do you think it’s good policy to invite everyone here unvetted and then hope it all works out?
Because that’s the Democrat policy. They want more money to process more people faster and have to intention of shutting the door and asking people to apply FIRST.

The only source I found is at The Guardian, a British publication. I read that Biden asked Trump to help him pass the bill that was before Congress not to work out a viable compromise.

There's no way Biden asked for that meeting. Biden needs to continue the narrative of Trump being a reprobate and not worthy of being taken seriously on anything. That's why there will never be a debate between the two. If Biden was actually a functional adult and had good ideas about the border he would probably want a public debate, but the Democrats don't have any answers other than how to process illegals into the country faster. Americans with active brain cells know that is a horrible idea.
