A true Democracy like K wants means the majority rules. So if a majority of Americans want to ban same sex marriage, they are allowed to do it.

Luckily our founders chose a representative Democracy that also has the input of the courts to determine if new laws are fair.

I want the president to be elected via popular vote, not by the electoral college. Just like how we elect local and state politicians, just like how we elect U.S. House and Senate. Got it?
