Majority rules=Mob rule.
So the way we elect local representatives is mob rule?
The way we elect U.S. House and Senators is mob rule?
The way Coloradans change the state constitution is mob rule?
If I understand you correctly, any election where a person or issue is chosen by majority is mob rule?

No you don't if the electoral college favored Harris you would be all for it.
Now you can unbottle some of your faux outrage for telling you what you think.

Originalists rock!
Why would you be "for" something that disenfranchises voters, i.e., the Electoral College?
Why has no one successfully got an amendment started to repeal the Electoral College? Think they might have a problem getting small states like Delaware and New Mexico to give up their Electoral Votes?
By enfranchising individual voters, you are disenfranchising states.

States aren't people, Fred. All states have representation, i.e., two senators and at least one representative. The EC is only for electing a president.
Explain to me why the election comes down to only a handful of states. To use your "logic," do you suppose that the safe states feel disenfranchised?

There have been plenty of elections that didn't come down to battleground states.
Hillary's loss in 2016 was because she refused to campaign in what she thought were Blue Wall/ Rust Belt states which were traditional deep blue strongholds.
She overestimated her popularity with blue collar union voters and even white women.
