You do not seem to have understand how different Trump is compared to the last 3 or 4 Democrats you voted for. For example… when Biden would warn one of our adversaries to not do something, he would just say “don’t”. Which, after the embarrassing and deadly Afghanistan withdrawal, made our enemies more certain that they could do pretty much whatever they wanted, because American leadership had never been weaker.

Now when Trump says he’s ok with boots on the ground, he doesn’t have to put boots on the ground because he has already shown our enemies that he will do what he says he’ll do…or he won’t. He’s not the same as all the predictable weasels in Washington that haven’t done a thing to be feared or even respected by our adversaries.

I'm just curious HA, why deliberately omit the preceding sentence when quoting what Trump said? You know, the part of the quote that says "if necessary". Is it because including it wouldn't allow you to entirely change the context in which he was speaking and as a result ruins your argument?

And yes, after 25 years of failed collectivism, it's going to take a while to right the Venezuelan ship of state and the US will need to continue to be supportive of their efforts to return to the realm of being one of the civilized countries in the world during that period, especially if we wish to continue to be the primary, stabilizing, influencing entity within our own hemisphere. It took two and a half decades for Venezuela to deteriorate to this point, it ain't getting fixed in a month or two, any rational person sees and accepts that reality.

We are going to have to be there to monitor elections, assist in infrastructure, help provide security, and many other efforts undertaken by the Venezuelan people for years, perhaps even a decade or two, to put this dark chapter of their history behind them. That doesn't mean that Trump or the people of these United States want to be an occupying force, it simple means the rational among us recognize that our years of inattention have come at a cost to Venezuela and to the US.

You need to understand negotiations. Right now the President is preparing to replace Maduro's underlings in a bloodless transfer to democracy. In order to do that, you need to remind these socialist autocrats that we can still occupy your nation and condemn you for crimes against humanity.
Rubio should send them tapes from Gitmo and Abu Ghrabib about how we treat these losers.
