I am skeptical that new weight loss drugs will do much at all to the cost of healthcare. Sure having less over weight people could reduce those peoples needs of more health care. I just don't have much faith in modern "new" medicine as it is always many years after the use of drugs before the drug companies are held accountable for the unknown damages that are caused from their use.

Could make it higher health care costs actually, if they aren't dying early from obesity, their bodies are surviving longer than their minds.

Dementia care is expensive!

They already know some of the side effects, some r minor, but some r pretty scary...making it generic is
questionable....BUT, more access means more money for the pharmco....more people to treat for the serious side effects....

PHARMCO has pushed this drug into the populace, with RAPID speed....the demand is there because people want a 'quick fix"...the clinical trails were woefully implemented (not enough timeframe)...they r jusr NOW beginning to see some of the repercussions of the drug....when u look at the AGED faces (after taking the drug for awhile) the before and after pix r STUNNING....NOT WORTH IT in the long run. the down side is u quit the drug...the weight comes back

It could just be a wash. Being fat vs gambling with a drug that may have long term effects. Over time we will see who lives longer on average.

I’ll stick to having self discipline and common sense and hope cancer doesn’t return.
