I knew obama was a moonbat, now he threatens to take on the GOP when the dems lose big time in November. Well, obama, its not the GOP that will cause you to lose November, its the American people voting your PC, far left liberal nutjobs out of office! You will wage war against the American people, they have had enough of you!
A Republican majority in Congress would mean "hand-to-hand combat" on Capitol Hill for the next two years, threatening policies Democrats have enacted to stabilize the economy, President Obama warned Wednesday.
Speaking on Michael Baisden's syndicated radio show, Obama also made a direct appeal to African Americans about the importance of the November vote, even though he's not on the ballot himself.
"The reason we won [in 2008] is because young people, African Americans, Latinos -- people who traditionally don't vote in high numbers -- voted in record numbers. We've got to have that same kind of turnout in this election," he said. "If we think that we can just vote one time, then we have a nice party at Obama's inauguration, and then we can kind of sit back and suddenly everything's going to change – that's just not how it works."
We all know that he can't energize his base during the mid-term elections. They are still looking to get some of his stash.
Obama is smarter than he looks. After the Republicans win, his strategy will be to blame the Republicans for stopping him from accomplishing what he wants to, since he no longer will have the majorities that he now has. Then his base will be energized. He has blamed Bush for everything up till now and the Libs have gone along with that. After the election he will have a legitimate target to blame.
Was watching McGlaughlin(SP?) last night and the latest polling (gallup) has the Democrats closing with the Republicans on getting their voters to the polls. I fear the Republicans are spending more time picking their victory cigars than getting out the vote.
Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, just trade-offs.
I look forward to the combat. I prefer gridlock to what we have now. Yes he will finally have a few R's to blame for his failed policy - but it's a pretty shakey plan to bet it will work in his favor.
I'm gonna run for office. My slogan will be "Clogged up like a dog that ate too much cheese".
I promise to do nuthin. Nuthin at all. I won't do any harm. I won't increase taxes. I won't pass legislation written by special intrest groups. Nobody will ever be able to call me a progressive.
I'd win in a landslide, cuz while I might not be promoting people's personal agenda, I'm also not promoting that with which they disagree. That makes me the lesser of two evils.
"Whatever you are, be a good one." ~ Abraham Lincoln
I think it's the best America can hope for given the circumstances. If we can get this socialist out in 2012- we may be able to start reversing the damage that has been done.
Until then, gridlock is good.
That government is best which governs the least, because its people discipline themselves.
-- Thomas Jefferson
Given that Obama has demonstrated his ninja skills by catching a fly mid-air, I would think that the GOP would be very scared to battle Obama in hand-to-hand combat.
The best strategy for the GOP would be to challenge him to a game of "red rover red rover."

There is an illiterate clown (speaking literally) who is running on that exact platform in Brazil & doing very well. He promises to do nothing but report back on what he sees during the legislative process. Somehow I doubt that would be as well-received here in the states.
Most everything I hear from the Liberals smacks of desperation. They were given the chance to 'change', America. They did change it and now America realizes it will all have to be reversed. That's what makes the Libs so desperate. They know they've only advocated for themselves and now they have awakened the sleeping giant. I say hand-to-hand or at the polls, the time has come to say "Too Bad, So Sad, Bye-Bye".
