Don't get me wrong. I thing Olberman is an elitist. I've only watch YouTubes of his "Worst Person" presentations. He comes off to me as a holier-than-thou snob.
My take on this is, it is not about the contributing every company has different rules on that. But Keith knew the rules and was supposed to run it by management and didn't. That was what I did not get.

I would bet they could get suspended because they DIDN'T contribute to a candidate's campaign over at FOX.
Boo hoo :Crying:
If anything, I bet they fire employees at FOX who donate to Socialist Liberal Democrats. They probably just hang the employee after waterboarding him/her for hours. (sarcastically)
I wonder if NBC prohibits it employees from donating to green/climate change policy making organizations? They sure do push the green agenda on the Weather Channel and other NBC properties.
Wow, that is a long term suspension, Friday & Monday? Sounds more like a lost weekend. Maybe Keith just needed some downtime after the election.
I haven't heard about any big campaigns to save Keith's job, maybe it was just a call from George Soros.
Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, just trade-offs.
After several days of deliberation and discussion, I have determined that suspending Keith through and including Monday night's program is an appropriate punishment for his violation of our policy. We look forward to having him back on the air Tuesday night.

But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill
It all seems like a scheme to get his name out there and raise his visibility -- riding on the NPR controversy. All he got was two days off and look at all the talk it has generated.
