I like Romney. He served as governor in a blue state so he has executive experience, business experience, knows how to pass legislation with a Dem majority. But I think he will be considered too moderate for the GOP base, so they will choose someone who runs more to the right.

I chose Romney also.

Romney is actually the only governor in American history ever to impose an individual health insurance mandate on his citizens. And an individual mandate, of course, is at the heart of Obama's reform package.

Nor is the mandate the only common ground between RomneyCare and ObamaCare; the Massachusetts plan that Romney signed into law in 2006 is essentially the blueprint for Obama's plan. Both rely on the same basic formula: a requirement that everyone purchase insurance and government assistance for those who can't afford it.

No because it's a state issue. Where in the constitution does it state that the Federal government can force me to buy anything.

I voted Rubio, although if he ran, I would prefer Chris Christie.

I have no issue with Romney's "individual mandate". It is a states rights issue. If a state chooses to do such a mandate, it is their own people asking for it.
