HERE ARE ALL THE DEVELOPED NATIONS OF THE WORLD
THAT OFFER BIRTHRIGHT CITIZENSHIP TO THE BABIES OF TOURISTS AND ILLEGAL ALIENS:
1. United States of America
2.
That's right, every other modern developed nation in the world has gotten rid of birthright citizenship policies. Yet, most of U.S. news media and politicians the last two weeks have ridiculed the comments by some other politicians that it is time for the U.S. to put an end to birthright citizenship for tourists and illegal aliens.
Folks, the U.S. stands alone.
There used to be all kinds of Developed countries that gave away their citizenship as freely as we do in the U.S. But one by one they all have recognized the folly of that policy.
SOME MODERN COUNTRIES THAT RECENTLY ENDED
THEIR BIRTHRIGHT CITIZENSHIP POLICY:
Canada was the last non-U.S. holdout. Illegal aliens stopped getting citizenship
for their babies in 2009.
Australia's birthright citizenship requirements are much more stringent than
those of H.R. 1868 and took effect in 2007..
New Zealand repealed in 2006
Ireland repealed in 2005
France repealed in 1993
India repealed in 1987
United Kingdom repealed in 1983
Portugal repealed in 1981
The United States is the laughing stock of the modern world.
It's not just Mexico and South America who are sending illegals across our borders. Wake up America .
Illegal aliens from China, India, Russia, the Middle East and a host of other nations are flooding the country. Look around you! We are giving away our culture and economic and fiscal strength because our borders are not secure and we bestow citizenship irresponsibly.
In my opinion, the reason our formerly Democrat controlled congress has not acted to repeal this policy, is that they want to guarantee they will have a voter base who will keep them in power. WE WILL LOSE OUR COUNTRY, if we continue to give away citizenship to the children of everyone who can commit the sex act, and give birth. Please call your congressional representatives.
The U.S. does NOT give citizenship to tourists and illegal aliens (as per the Constitution). This has been a misinterpretation by the supreme court on what a natural born citizen might be.
...and we are brilliant bunch too. At 21, the child can sponsor to US citizenship his parents, illegal siblings, uncles, cousins provided that the child has a job and making an amount just over the poverty standard and the sponsor person is not in the U.S. at the time of the application. We have many of the anchor babies coming of age.
Archer doesn't want to look at the chart on there, it will make too much sense for her brain that leans left because of health care. She thinks that it is a right, since all the other industrialized failing nations have it. What I don't understand is why she wants to live in Arizona where the State is so opposed to illegals, her friends.
No Archer we don't think health care is a right, especially to give to the Illegals. If you just looked at the cost of health care for the Illegals, you might see where the USA could cut our deficit.
oh geesh....you really don't have a clue do you nmysys.....but i guess trying to insult me makes you think you are right.
I said nothing about healthcare being a right....I simply used it as an example because I found it amusing that in one subject outdoor is so concerned about what other countries do....and in another subject he couldn't care less. Talk about tailoring the outrage to fit your own prejudices.
BTW....we will always end up paying for illegal health care whether we have universal healthcare or not.....it's a given. We don't allow people to die on our streets even if they are illegal. You are pretty naive if you think that will ever change.

Our aim is not to enter the fray over the proposed legislation but to check Beck's claim that the United States is the only country in the world that grants automatic citizenship to anyone born in the country.
And to that end, we refer to a report from NumbersUSA, a group dedicated to reducing immigration levels, and which backs Deal's bill. They found that in addition to the United States, there are 33 countries that offer automatic, unconditional citizenship to children born within their borders.
They offer several qualifiers. No European nations grant birthright citizenship (but we note that Romania is on the list). Canada is the only developed nation other than the United States. No nation in the group other than the United States has more than 200 million people. Only the United States, Pakistan and Mexico have 50 million or more.
It might be surprising to Americans that automatic citizenship isn't more common in the developed world, but the bottom line is Beck made a blanket statement that is just wrong. We rate his statement False.

Birthright Citizenship is the automatic granting of citizenship to children born within a nation's borders or territories. The United States and Canada are the only developed nations in the world to still offer Birthright Citizenship to tourists and illegal aliens.
In a number of countries, the automatic application of jus soli has been modified to impose some additional requirements for children of foreign parents, such as the parent being a permanent resident or having lived in the country for a period of time. Jus soli has been modified in the following countries:
* United Kingdom on 1 January 1983
* Australia on 20 August 1986[3]
* Republic of Ireland on 1 January 2005[3]
* New Zealand on 1 January 2006[3]
* South Africa on 6 October 1995[3]
* France also operates a modified form of jus soli
"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill
