Moms with 2.3 kids will have to now drive 1 ton duallys instead of mini vans.
:rofl :rofl Funny post but it's not funny becuase it's true. They keep saying they want to help childhood obesity but then they make it so they don't have to exercise anymore. This nation is so screwed up with it's common sense.
It was mandatory when I was in school and you even had to complete a minimum requirement of exercise in order to pass.
And commom sense is dead remember the other topic.

WHile I certainly advocate PE, it is not exclusively because it helps fight obesity. PE is an environment of competition, exerting yourself, testing your limits, to deal with failure and likely a number of other opportunities to learn lessons that prepare you for adult life and our competitive society. The good news is that PE is a relatively benign place to learn such lessons. Later in life, such lessons re learned at considerable expense.
Was there a justification given for eliminating PE?
Bad idea to cut it. First they've cut recess in a lot of elementary and junior highs, now they will cut PE - when exactly will threse children run around?
