See I don't see it as comparing actions. That was my point. I think it is just not a good argument to try and make all of a group as believing or doing something that one person in the group does. And it is just not a good argument.
One other thing, the argument that 'the other side is better if they are adulterers' because at least they did not run on that says something worse in my view. Like, 'sure they are scum but they admit it.' I do not get that.
You want to talk about some of the social issues surrounding the differences great. But I will NEVER blame a large group for actions from a few. It just is not fair. LJ, you have some great arguments. You have some great stuff.
One more thing. BB your neo nazi stuff makes no sense. Kenya and blue eyed swedes? Kenya is a place it doesn't produce people.

Are you saying that he is a slime but at least he wasn't hypocritical? I just don't know why this always has to turn into Rep vs. Lib when this happens. No offense.
I think the difference here is that Clinton was not campaigning and trying to get elected based on his stance on Just Say No and then was caught trying to sell weed on CL with pictures of him holding a joint.

Democrats platform: It's a free for all. We don't have any standards so vote to your heart's content. So when we Democrats lie, cheat, and steal....just expect it from us. That's what we call Hope and Change.
One bright spot? The GOP leadership told him to get the hell out now! Instead of defending him. (Or a bunch more crap is about to come out and the two-term Rep. decided to get out of the public eye now.)

I don't cut anyone slack for this activity....regardless of party. If you cheat on your wife/husband, you are a dirtbag, and I don't want you in national office. If you are willing to cheat the one person who should be able to trust you completely, why would you not cheat on the taxpayers and citizens who you don't even know.
I tried to think of something to add, but RenegadeCJ said it just perfectly.

Now lets see what the Dem leadership does with Weiner.
Yep... And whatever they decided to do, I'm okay with it. The little schmuck admits to it, and I have no respect for that... I didn't approve of it when Lee did it, and I don't approve of it now... Wrong is wrong. At least I'm consistent....
Don't ya just love our democrat presidents like FDR, JFK, clintoon and their several girlfriends ...and heck you had one presidential candidate who murdered his mistress :VeryScared: !
