Has anyone asked the key question? Does this 11 year old have the means to do this? Last I checked "Toys Are Us" didn't renew their Federal Firearms License.

Good point. That is the issue is they are going by just words and in my world as a kid, as previously mentioned, my friends talked about hating their teachers all the time. I can come up with more examples. We all would have been arrested.

I'll wait to find out what the other facts are regarding this case before attacking the authorities. Sounds like they may have had more than one drawing to go on.

More wasted tax money that could have been avoided with some common sense by moronic pc adults.

Not to mention the money that I'm sure the parents had to spend.

In February of '99, Dylan Klebold turned in a story he wrote about an assassin in a black trench coat who shoots down students and bombs the city. "The man unloaded one of the pistols across the fronts of [the] four innocents," Klebold wrote. "The…streetlights caused a visible reflection off of the droplets of blood…I understood his actions."

Klebold's teacher later called it "the most vicious story she'd ever read," and voiced her concerns about it to Klebold's parents and his school counselor. But no school official ever looked into the matter, and it ended there. It was two months before the shootings.

According to Howard Cornell, that story gave Columbine's administrators yet another opportunity to head off Klebold and Harris - and yet again, they missed it.

ARVADA, Colo. -- An 11-year-old Arvada boy was arrested and hauled away in handcuffs for drawing stick figures in school - something his therapist told him to do.

The boy’s parents say they understand what he did was inappropriate, but are outraged by the way Arvada Police handled the case.

Are you kidding me? WT*?

I was a happy kid, but I got into trouble a lot. I remember in the first week of kindergarden me and a few other kids crouched down under a window of another class and yelled things like "poo-poo" and "pee-pee" and I swear that teacher carried me all the way to the priciples office by my ear. Then later that week I ripped the centerfold out of the Playboy in my dads flight bag and showed it to all my friends at recess. Got spanked by the pricibles secretary for that one.... My parents took me to a phyciatrist and he asked me to draw a picture of my family..Even at that young age of 6 I knew what he was looking for so I minipulated the proceedings. I drew my mom really nice and smiling, and all my brothers and sisters too- Then I drew my dad really big with a frown, and I swear to god, I put a Hitlers mustache on him. And guess what the phsychiatrist told my parents? He told my dad he was too mean, and that I was just bored... lol ...My dad was career military so he was a screamer, but he wasn't too mean, but I think I musta been pissed that they sent me to a head doctor so I played the doctor...My dad got nice for about two years after that. This kid isn't stupid, he probably drew that picture to get outta school or something and the adults overeacted. Thats my opinion, for whatever it's worth?
