What makes you think that I'm for the rec district? I don't live in the district anymore and have not said one word either way in any of the multiple threads on multiple sites on the proposal. Nor am I versed at all in the pros and cons so how could I advocate for it, even if I wanted to? I just wanted to see if you are going to present both sides of the situation, or only one, at the Tea Party Meeting.

SC:

Did you see the :rofl under my answer? It was a joke. Teasing you. Lighten up!

We are having a discussion and the plan is to have people from both sides. I can't guarantee that both sides show up, but that is the plan. As usual we will have an open discussion, so I am sure that both sides of this will be presented as only we, in the Tea Party are willing to do. Note that last sentence!

We could do without the ROFL responses when questions are asked about the local Tea Party program. Unless you really think it's a ROFL matter.

Since you seem to be a Liberal Kresspin, I will post how I feel, not how you feel. We can do without a lot of things, but it seems that a small percentage of the population of this country wants to impose their thoughts and attitudes on the rest of us.

It has nothing to with imposing thoughts and attitudes. It has to do with acting businesslike when you represent a local political party..

I would submit that if someone asked a question about a local Republican, Democrat or Libertarian party meeting, they would NOT get a :rofl answer. It might make them appear less credible in the eyes of potential members.

It even comes down to local politics without parties. If you asked the country commissioners when the next meeting was, do you really think they'd give an answer that included :rofl ?

If you want your group to be taken seriously, then act like it's really not a joke. JMHO
