And you wonder why Republicans are not taken seriously

Why not address what this ONE Republican is saying instead of making it look like ALL have the same opinion?

If I had a thread called "Why do Muslims want to kill us?" you would be all over me like stink on a turd. This is a problem most of us have on these forums and it only makes the divide wider. Unless you can show that the majority of Republicans share the view of this Senator, it's really just a rant against ONE guy. I personally see nothing wrong with the proposed legislation and you should know by now that I'm no Democrat.

I doubt this would turn boys into sissys, but I do think our society has moved toward feminizing boys by eliminating the best games like dodgeball

I would take your criticism more seriously if you posed the same objection to the many posters here who paint all "liberals" or Democrats with an equally broad brush,

I think you missed the part where I said this ^^^ . I'm trying to NOT do this, I hope it catches on but I really doubt it will. The nastiest posters here use broad generalizations in almost every post. We really need an emoticon for that because it really gets tiresome pointing it out all the time.

And you missed my point, in that you only criticize those who do not follow your political point of view. I have yet to see you criticize your fellow conservative posters who use broad brush attacks on "libs" or Dems.

Kudos for the spin and deflection from the OP, Nym.

Just addressing your question!!! Wasn't trying to spin or deflect.

It wasn't my question. I wish I could remove your "!" key, though. You overuse it.

Here is one point of view:

The problem is that we are turning into a nation of Rays. The standard held up to us is entirely female. This can be easily witnessed in the rise of the "metrosexual," the straight man so feminized that, like a woman, he is obsessed with his appearance, daubs on makeup and opts for cosmetic surgery. Today, men are supposed to have "relationship skills," and they are expected to be capable of achieving "greater intimacy" and to openly express their emotions. They are supposed to be "soul mates" and to "communicate" like girlfriends, not act like testosterone-charged lovers. But at the same time, today's woman has still not shed her typical female hypocrisy; as usual, she still wants it both ways. When there's hard work to be done or bills to be paid, that's when she wants us to act like "real men."

As Zubaty writes: "Our job is not to get along with the Goddess. Our job is to f**k the Goddess."

Maybe some males want to get back to basics. lol

Actually, the Ray reference hits the mark. He is the quintessential feminised male referred to most often.

And you criticize your fellow liberals? I must have missed those posts.
