Are you saying I shouldn't continue to be friends with PhotoFish because he is a Liberal?
Or are you speaking of others within our group?
Just asking.
If you were going to start a business partnership would you rather it be with someone who wants to see your business succeed or with someone who will undermine your efforts all the way to bankruptcy? You never heard the story of the frog and the scorpion?
That's alright Photo, you and your Liberal, Progressive, Marxist, Nazi, agenda have basically made it impossible for a small business to operate any way. LOL
Now apparently a small business owner has to know his customer's political stance!!
BB:
Answering a question with a question doesn't answer the first question. FYI
Photo Fish and I have been friends for longer than we knew that politically we had differences. Am I to assume that Liberals and Conservatives can't still be friends?

So you are sying that conservatives don't burn wood?
Are people that petty they would attempt to ruin another's business over political differences? That's just sad. I could disagree with Nym all week long on here, but if I found out he had the best wood and best deal on wood, I'd give my money to him. (and when I need wood again, I probably will.)

Instead of holding onto a group of friends who conjure up images of the bar scene in Star Wars.
BaileyBoy, you better stop posting pictures of radicals. rofllol rofllol
Don't worry about it. It was all said in jest, I think!!
Photo Fish and I are friends and will continue to be so, no matter the political discourse, again, I think. LOL
BB was claiming one thing, and then changed it to try to tell me that I couldn't be friends with a Liberal. Heck, I'm even friends with Science Chick, I think. LOL
Better watch out Nmysys, BaileyBoy will start calling you a liberal next, what with all these liberal friends that you have! rofllol
In regards to the original post, I don't see the extrapolation to teacher's unions. Yes, this is educational material, but aimed at students not teachers, right? Or am I missing something? Frankly, after reading through the description, I was disgusted by the listing of tactics, and decry its use on either side of the political spectrum.
Alinsky’s writings have been called the “mother’s milk of the left,” however in an ironic homage, the conservative right has borrowed a page or two from the Alinsky playbook. Tea Party leader and self-described “conservative radical” Michael Patrick Leahy, for example, has authored a book based on Alinsky’s teachings: “Rules for Conservative Radicals.”
"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill
