Johnson hated the war, I saw a complete 4 or 5 hour documentary on it and how he hated losing boys, and hated what it meant.

Be thankful Kennedy did not complete his term as WWIII would have still been raging if we were even here.

Years ago I took my kids to the traveling wall that came through the town we were living in. We found the name of a cousin that had been killed in the war. He was 19. We made an impression of his name with a pencil and paper and sent it along with some pictures of the wall to his elderly parents in Iowa.

A belated Welcome Home to all Vietnam veterans who made it back home, and RIP to all those, including a number of my friends, who did not.

I agree with Grady about both the Vietnam Memorial Wall and the Smithsonian.

IMO it is totally wrong to use this thread for political BS!

Remember and honor all those who served in Vietnam, as well as ALL veterans!
