I believe once he was deemed eligible to run for president, then elected....the burden of proof is on those who would question it.....it is you who have it backwards.

Can you tell us who deemed him eligible?
Here's a copy of his birth certificate. Will that do?

Did you flunk civics?
The government of the United States deemed him eligible, per the federal procedures used to qualify presidential candidates.

Do you have your original birth certificate? Most people do not and get an official version of their birth certificate from the State. If you have evidence that Obama was not born an American citizen, I would love to see it.

I don't have my original certificate. I have a copy that has an official stamp from the State I was born in.
Why won't you accept a State issued birth certificate?
What you posted Kate is a Certificate of Live Birth. It has embedded in the rear, if you look closely a date from 2007. Does this Certificate have a Stamp on it?
I have my original Birth Certificate and the name of the doctor who delivered my twin sister and I. It says Birth Certificate on it, not Certificate of Live Birth.
Kresspin:
The Government of the United States has actually no provision for checking or certifying that a candidate meets this qualification.

I'm having trouble understanding what is the difference between Birth Certificate and Certificate of Live Birth. To me, they seem to be the same thing, just different terminology.
What would happen if you didn't have your original birth certificate, Nmysys? You would most likely get a copy from the State that you were born in. If that's good enough for the State government, why isn't the Hawaii certificate good enough?
