Our beloved Chief of Security, Otis, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep last night. He will be fiercely missed.

My condolences RF, he's a beauty. Peace to you and your family.

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill

Aside from Kas, jmc was one of the first to meet him as a pup.

It's exactly a month today that we lost my dad, so I'm choosing to think he just needed a really good dog with him and they're hangin' together.

Thank you all for the good thoughts, very much appreciated.

My cousins told me last year, that when a beloved human in our lives dies, a lot of times a beloved animal follows. It's the first I heard of that...

I think you are correct and your dad needed him. RIP Otis.

Thanks, Hoot Owl. I know we'll get through all of this, but damn, this last month has just sucked.
