As for the title of the Forum.. Doc's Rocks has been suggested. Would you object if i interject some levity and call it Doc's Rocks Exposed? lol

I am very excited about this thread. I entered college intending to major in business. Enrolling in a geology class with no idea of the subject matter, I had such an impressive field oriented professor, I changed my major. Having the opportunity to tap your level of education and experience locally, makes my day.

VERY interested in this as an on-going discussion. Also interested in fault-lines, and natural hot springs (sub-terrian) along the corridor/
