Top Places to Fish in Colorado
according to the CO Tourism Office: South Park
Known for its productive trout waters and over 50 miles of Gold Medal water public and private streams, the waters in the area are of the highest quality aquatic habitat. While many of these waters are not open to the public, the South Park Fly Fishers program allows fishermen to access these waters. The program is the result of historic ranches joining together to offer a once-in-a-lifetime experience on private water. Anglers can select one of the registered properties and pay the daily rod fee to fish one of the private trout streams. The different properties allow for a variation in scenery and the fishing experience. This program supports conservation efforts along the rivers so that fishermen can enjoy the waters for years to come. - See more at:

South Park Fly Fishers: BREAKING NEWS
2014-07-19
ALL properties are now available for reservations including Tarryall Creek Ranch near Como. Stream flows are still a little high for this time of year but fishing has been good to excellent. The reservation cutoff time is now 4:00 PM if you want to fish the following day.
Please note that our check-in procedure has changed on some properties:
The DM RANCH and LOWER FOURMILE CREEK RANCH have the same check-in procedure as last year. You must pick up your angling pass at High Alpine Sports in Fairplay before proceeding to these properties to fish.
ALL other properties have a new check-in procedure this year. After submitting your online reservation you will be prompted to download your angling pass on the confirmation page. Either print the pass or save it on your smart phone (as a PDF). Proceed DIRECTLY to the ranch on the day of your reservation. Be sure to bring your pass because it contains the gate combination and you may be checked by the ranch manager!
