This blog is the best explanation of what burro racing is, and why it is so addictive for many of us, that I have ever read. It is a 42 day journey through the life of a novice burro racer, culminating in the Fairplay Burro Race on July 25, 2010.

The link is to day one. Follow it through, day by day, to the end. It will take a while, but it expresses the feelings that most of us have for the mountains and animals very well.

jf1acai, interesting site. Just one question, which is more stubborn, the burro or the push, pull and dragger?

The silent majority will be silent no more.
