Hot news! We are announcing our new site, Smoky Hill Bound
:Hotnews:
SmokyHillBound.com, is the test drive of our new Communities Bound site, located in Centennial and Aurora, Colorado area. This site was produced with our new upgraded software which is much easier to customize for our affiliates. Our new software system took a bit longer than we expected (this always seems to happen) and this is why we held off on adding new affiliate sites until this new software was ready to be tested.
The forums have some big and not so big differences but the one you may be most interested in is the html editor within the forums. We now host our own photos and have many more capabilities when posting videos. Flash is considered dangerous and is not able to be posted within all of our sites but on the new system. However, if you have videos from anywhere on the internet, just send the code to the tech team and we will get them posted for you, in most cases. It will take some getting used to but over all is very versatile.
We are hoping you will want to test the site out for us! There are some tweaks we are still working on, along with html editor and a few other bugs, so if you catch any please feel free to ask questions or post issues in our "letters to the editor" forum on http://www.SHbound.com. There are also some tutorials on the site as well. Some of these links will be sent to you as a new member in our welcome letter.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask us!
We are very excited about this new phase of development at Communities Bound. It is very likely that at some point in the future some or all of our other affiliates will be converted to the new software! We have included our press release.
Thank you so much,
Communities Bound
Communities Bound, LLC ANNOUNCES LAUNCH OF LOCAL COMMUNITY WEBSITE
Communities Bound, LLC today announced the launch of http://www.SmokyHillBound.com, a new community website designed to provide a platform for local information, discussion and unique access to the local business community. This exciting new site is free for members and allows them to discuss a wide variety of topics as well as find updates on local events, weather and traffic unique to the Smoky Hill area.
“We not only encourage, but are reliant upon members’ active participation,” said Robyn Honsey, the site’s owner. “Our ultimate goal is that the site is not only a valuable community resource, but that it is fun for everyone involved.”
Smoky Hill Bound also takes a unique approach towards supporting local businesses by making available to them <remove comma> their own unique and individual business forum, helping to establish them as experts in their field as active members in the community. This new concept in advertising is so much different from the traditional advertising routes normally available to our local business community. “Our local business partners are provided with a true communication forum, allowing them to interact with the community, and not just relying upon a traditional advertising medium,” said Paul Petruccelli a manager of the site. “Often the news and issues around our area get lost in the bigger metro area outlets, our goal is to fill that gap and really promote that sense of community we all can benefit from.”
As a part of the larger Communities Bound network, http://www.SmokyHillBound.com has the ability to connect with other communities around the country. The Smoky Hill Bound team believe this connection and visibility will also benefit the local economy as the site becomes the go-to information guide for the area.
