Anyone know anything about a hit and run in Bailey? Can't find anything more helpful than this overmoderated post in Pinecam. http://www.pinecam.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=134907 Perhaps someone has some useful info that can be posted to catch the driver.

As I heard it on the scanner, an individual was slightly struck by the mirror on a pickup truck, and refused medical treatment.

The driver of the truck may not even be aware of it.

No matter what happened it is important for the members of a site to be able to get info out without hindrance unless it is a safety concern.
I did not hear anything about it.

I did not post it because it was a minor incident, and there were other things going on that I felt were more important at the time. Certainly not because of any intent to censor information that is important to the community.

I thought this response from a big shot over there was real neighborly.

Get your drawers out of a wade and PM me if you need the descriptions and quit [complaining] about the rules.
They are there for good reason. Have always been there, that rule is not new.

Wonder how long it will take to get a new registered user on 285bound?

I have not gone over there. Have no need, we have everything here and more, but back to original topic.

Was it really a hit and run?

What I saw back on the other site was that it was relatively minor and not being pursued. To slightly change the topic there is a rather humorous poll on changing the TOS. My God people over there are absolutely paranoid! I guess that if you post the color or type of vehicle there will be a witch hunt for anyone in a similar vehicle. Basically if someone in a blue Dodge Ram (not me) was involved in a hit and run I will be chased down and beat up by a vigilante mob if I someone in pinecam land sees me at a gas station in my blue Dodge Ram.
