What do you look for in a date/mate/love?

You know a friend of mine said something to me and this stuck. He said that he just thinks that men need someone to be patient with them and get to know them. Same is true on the women side. You take it slow, get to know the real person and that takes time. Alot of time.

Looks don't go far when you spend alot of time with someone in marriage or long term. Another friend said to get a good friend you have to be a good friend. All my best loves were my best friends. I am a hold out for that. My best friends put up with me. Hence my signature.

Good one. That evoked a good chuckle out of me. Certainly agree with you on the sense of humor. It leads to laughter and that is sooo good for the soul.

A sense of humor, integrity, and excellent communication skills are at the top of my list. But there has to be an attraction first.
