Per CDOT, I70 closure extended:

CLOSED TO TRAFFIC70 I-70 Westbound Rooney Road to Floyd Hill (Milemarker 259-248)Closed to traffic because of severe weather. No estimated time of reopening. Road closure began January 7th, 2012 at 2:42pm.

Per eyewitness report, vehicle over the embankment NB 285 at Highway 8, one lane open.

2 vehicle slide off on 285 SB approximately 1 mile South of Highway 8.
