My neighbor had a built in pool and we spent our summer at it. We brought a bagged lunch and drank kool aid and played monopoly poolside. To "tan" we lathered on baby oil!!!

abc you must have been rich to have a pool. We ran thru the lawn sprinkler in the front yard when we were not in the back yard playing "kick the can".

Hoot Owl, those "flying monkeys" were scary too, still have nightmares!

My brother and I got a tape cassette tape recorder. ( I still have them and my voice as a little girl) but it was so portable compared to those reel tape recorders.

How about getting the family together and putting up the big screen (not TV) and putting in the old black and white reel to reel silent tapes and watching our very old family movies together.
