WE have 3 seasons, (firewood/slash, mud & snow, burn firewood season)
Well, we do have tourist season but ya can't shot them so what's the point.

Sorry thought I'd just put 3 in for fun....

OK, wave to EVERYBODY, they could be the person that helps you out of a ditch.
If they don't wave back, screw 'em, they're flatlanders.

Sorry, been up here 20+ years.

So do Bears!
We can swell the elk, "area" if the wind is downhill.

Woodpeckers & Flickers love your stove pipes. What often works is to take a fork wait for them to hit it and wait a second, then hit the stove pipe from inside, they mostly don't come back.
Fresh pecked hole (take a little wood putty and put it over the hole, they come back ONCE and don't like the taste, for some reason), and don't come back.

After a warm day in the summer the cool evening air sifts down through the trees and concentrates the sweet smell of the tree sap, wafting it around you as you sit on the deck at dusk. Most wonderful smell in the world.

If you see a baby deer that you think is stranded and alone, don't bother it. Mom is coming back.

Your cats and dogs won't have fleas up here... I love that!
