Great pics, thanks for sharing. I don't have many fox around this year in my area, just one little guy.

CBS4 had a slide show photo section for Colorado fox pics, maybe you could upload some pics there too.

The cycle of life and mother nature is beautiful and harsh all at the same time.
We have had an abundance of foxes in the yard for over a month.
They have screamed and kept us up at night and we have tried to understand what all the commotion is about.
Yesterday the answers came for us and our neighbors.
A couple of fox families have set up residence on our adjoining properties. It is amazing to watch the parents protect their babies so vigorously from the natural predators that abound here.
Yesterday afternoon, mother nature unfolded before us in a very sad way. A coyote had followed the family and has now taken at least one set of of the babies. I am very sad. The neighbor did what she could to keep the coyote at bay but alas....mother nature has taken it's course.
It is amazing to watch those little foxes protect their young. They wail and pace to scare the larger predators off.
I wish we could have seen those babies grow up.
I have a new profound respect for foxes these days.

Our local coyote has done the same to a couple. We watched an adult fox from high up on a rock try to distract the coyote with her wailing. Some of the youngsters actually made it back into the little tiny opening that the coyote couldn't enter.

Coyotes keep the fox population under control. I have a hunch that the coyote took the fox back to their den in some willows about 1/2 mile away. They have been spending a lot of time there.

Here's a better shot of the chimney sweep kit

Their play is more aggressive now, but they still just tumble all over the hillside

Dad takes his role seriously. He grooms the little ones every day.

They are getting bigger, their markings are changing and their eyes are no longer blue.

what cute pics. I used to have a fox family in the neighborhood; they were living under an abandoned cabin. Several years ago I walked by and saw 4 pups and mom. On my way back there was a couple with a high power camera taking pics. However, they fed the foxes dog food to be able to get better pics. they got very defensive and upset when I asked them not to do that. AFter that the foxes never returned nor was there a new litter. So sad.
