Like VL said - getting your information is a cakewalk anymore. Don't believe me? Google your real name, or go on Spokeo.com. Most of the info on spokeo is utter crap, but they DO have your address right - all pulled from a 5 minute internet search.
So, you can choose to control the info about you, or you can choose to ignore it and be surprised when people you never wantsed to find you suddenly do.
And face it, internet isn't going to die out, like Prince in his fantasy music land would like to believe.More and more of our jobs are going to be internet based. Hell, one of mine clearly is.
