looks like the fire has reached my two (2) favorite campgrounds:
- Mountain Park (this one was hit, for sure --- it had showers!)
- Jack's Gulch (all time family favorite)

I know there's folks who have far more devastating losses ---- but that's simply how this one hit home for us.

Getting some pics of the devastation. Sad.

The High Park Fire is now being reported as 100% contained. :woo hoo: Cost to date is $38.4 million.

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill
