I'll be sighting my rifle in today- so if you live in Evergreen and hear the sound- that'll be my high powered rifle you hear.

It's that time of year again- PVO elk and deer season starts on Saturday- you can call the cops again if you want, but last year all they did was drive by, they didn't even stop.

Curious how your neighborhood is taking to your new found interest Becky.

I thought rifle season did not start until October, only archery and muzzle loaders till then. Unless you are planning on poaching.

Not a new found interest at all.
We don't shoot on the property here. Our property does not really provide a safe area to shoot. We practice at local ranges.

Never much minded the recreational shooting where I used to live....in Evergreen, on the top of a mountain. I have my own guns and my bow. I would shoot the bow on the property, with back stop, but go to a range to shoot the pistol. Not my neighbor, he shot on his property, with a backstop. When, however, I found a few bullet holes in my garage from "someone", I got angry. OK, my garage looked like a barn, and perhaps he wanted to see if he could hit the broad side of it. But, what if it had been my house, with me and the dogs in it. I draw the line on your freedoms when they threaten my, or my pup's, life.
