Don't doubt it in the least. But no matter how well you test software (particularly at the OS level) you can't help but have some problems somewhere.

Windows XP still works fine for me. I have had problems with the newer Office files not working though, excell and word.

Had to switch from XP but that was because of QuickBooks I have to keep all of my employment tax records up to date and QB would not support XP anymore.

I use windows 7, and I'm happy with that....Mr archer still has XP, we need to upgrade his laptop soon as updating drivers for some things is no longer possible.

I saw a preview at the store. I bought a computer and they said I can update to W8 for 15 dollars within 90 days. I will wait until the very end but it looked cool. The start menu is badges rather than text.
