If you contact the media you might want to mention that the raw sewage is leaking/running into the Platte River -- a source of water for Denver. Hum -- I wonder if Denver Water is worth a call?

Another avenue is to try local watershed conservation groups that have a small but noisy hammer to get the county's attention.
