Maybe we could strap big duggy to a tree with a camera and a pork chop around his neck?

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill

They are lots of fun. I got a Moultrie for Christmas last year.

Got some Deer, Fox, and Racoons so far. Movies too of the little fawns running around in June.
My camera works ok, its not an expensive model so the night pics are not that great. Day pics are pretty good, but sometimes blurry.

Pros
Easy to use and strap to any tree
Doubles as a security cam when you are not home
Can get close up pics if you locate it properly

Cons
Wind/trees sets it off, lots of pics to review with no critters
Night pics disappointing
Lots of blurry pics and half pics out of sight
Batteries go down fairly quick if you leave it on 24/7

I'll post a few pics when I get the computer that has them stored.

My best recommendation would be spend a little money on one that takes good night pics, or leave some outside lights on. I keep my lights out. There was another thread here:

I think Grady has one too and had some good tips.

If you're running short on bailing wire, duct tape, or bars of soap in socks, let me know, I'll be happy to lend a hand!

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Posting in Big Dumbass style because it's too hard to capture a complete thought in one post; I recommend filling up a tuna fish can with bacon grease and placing it at Big Dumbass's feet once he/she/it has been securely fastened to said tree, it'll keep the bears away.

lol Otis. Div Park & Wildlife could have used this instead of the bear trap at the neighbors.

My niece had a couple of them. They work great for wildlife but not so much for humans. They remove them because they are usually in an accessible location. She uses outdoor night cameras that are attached to her home and visible on her computer. Got them from Costco.
