The coolest thing I saw today....

I went for a walk it was beautiful. The sun was going down. I smelled just mowed grass, hot dogs grilling and it was perfect weather!

We just got back from walking our dogs. Cool temps, beautiful scenery. Gotta love Colorado.

I can feel fall just a little bit. So happy about that!

Does watching the wind pick up and take the umbrellas from Beau Jo's deck and blow them into the creek count?

No, what really counts - in Bear Creek, hanging out with this year's crop of mallards, is a white duck. It's shaped like a mallard, has some brown on its wings like someone dusted it with cocoa powder, but the rest is white like a domesticated duck. It's cool looking.

Went out a little after midnight (after the rain stopped in Durango) - and saw a dozen shooting stars.

Darn, I forgot to stay up late last night to watch the meteor showers. Maybe some more will be straggling across the sky tonight.

Zone 6 is a wonderful thing (neenerneenerneener). Heirloom tomatoes, pears, cukes, Japanese eggplants, acorn squash, cantelopes, potatoes, 3 kinds of peppers out of my garden with watermelon & pumpkins coming on fast. This was a quick sweep. Gotta get some help tomorrow cuz it's difficult to pick this stuff from a walker.

I am going for another walk, I will report my cool thing today. And I am planning on seeing meteors tonight too.

Okay, sun was going down. Blue pink and orange. All very light colors. A very soft wind and I smelled popcorn and water. It was heavenly.
